Our calendar events are now in our website calendar through August 2009. Note that some recurring events may show up beyond Aug 09, but the full 2009 - 2010 calendar won't be set-up until later in 2009.
To have an event added to the calendar or to change an existing event, please fill in the Calendar Event Request Form (linked above), or contact Doris Goodemote in the church office.
Using the First Presbyterian Church Web Calendar:
Please note that we have only one calendar for the website, but we have different views of it that display the calendar in different formats.
You can select a Calendar Category to filter the display of events to just the items in that Category.
Searching for an event:
Note that the website search tool does not search calendar events. However, you can go to the calendar display and search the page - in your browser select Edit - Find.
Full Calendar Event Details:
In either the Large Calendar Display or the List View Calendar, you can see additional details about an event (when they exist) by clicking on the event. Also note that at the bottom of the calendar pages, there is an option for Printer Friendly Version. Clicking on this option will show full details of all events for the month displayed.
Note that you can also search the full calendar events detail when you have the Printer Friendly Version displayed. Even though this is referred to as printer friendly, it is very long and you may not want to actually print it - but it is helpful as a means of display.
Printing a calendar:
To print out the calendar, select the Large Calendar Display, then in your browser, select File - Page Setup, then select Landscape, press Ok. Then select File - Print. Note that you can only print one month at a time. Attached is a pdf file with the November 2008 calendar as an example of how it looks.
