Global Mission to Kenya

A mission trip to Kenya is planned for the summer of 2010. The project will be the construction of a dormitory facility for AIDS orphans who are being raised be a Kenyan couple, Martin and Ruth Shikuku, who have a long standing relationship with the Pollock family. They began working doing home based care services for people suffering due to HIV/AIDS in 1997. Their patients asked the couple to care for their children upon their death and Martin and Ruth are now caring for 30+ children along with their own family. The home that they live in is terribly inadequate and they are badly in need of an improved facility.

During the next year we will be making plans and raising funds. In the summer of 2010 we will be sending 3 teams of volunteers to build the dormitory facility. How is God calling you to help with this project?
