Message from the Pastor
Welcome to 1st Presbyterian Church!
Mission, Music, Christian Education, and traditional worship have been a part of our congregation’s life for 200 years. We welcome you to explore not only this website, but to make a visit to our historic building. We believe it is beautiful with its “simple elegance.”
We admit that parking is a problem for us, but on Sundays there is normally plenty of space in the Pittsford public lots and bank lots that are less than 1 block away (sometimes just across the street). You should find a map here that indicates parking offerings.
1st Presbyterian Church exists to tell people about Jesus Christ and support them in their faith journey as they celebrate God’s love and become equipped to serve others in Jesus’ name.
We believe that God has called us together to be agents of reconciliation and hope and we rejoice in the offering of gifts and talents that people bring to this ministry.
We invite you to visit some Sunday. There will be greeters here to help you find everything from worship to refreshments. 1st Presbyterian Church is a family of lovers.
